A rather obscure Indonesian grindcore album, The Cruel's Hollow Horror features some
enjoyable yet still unrelenting combination of grindcore, death metal, and crust punk. With various fast and ferocious riffs, even some wicked solos, that pull no punches, dirty
bass that backbones the entire music, drums that switch from energetic d-beats that keep you jumping like a caveman to aggressive blast beats that pulverize your ears, and diverse vocal styles ranging from punkish shouts and growls to angry screams by Addy Gembel of Forgotten and deep guttural growls a la brutal death metal performed by Amenk Gb of Disinfected to even menacing clean vocals performed by Ivan Scumbag (RIP) of the Burgerkill fame, all these will make sure you have a good time having a listen to this album.

The well-managed production gives the music a strong, furious old-school feel. Avid grindcore fans are bound to love this debut album hatched by the self-titled "grinding punks" of Bandung. This album secures the position of Bandung as the sanctuary of Indonesian underground music. Did I tell you that they also play a cover of Metallica's Whiplash in the end of the album? That's definitely the icing of the cake.
